Accessibility Statement for Lifestyle Holidays

At Lifestyle Holidays, we are committed to ensuring that our
website is accessible to all people, regardless of technology or ability. We
strive to comply with internationally recognised accessibility standards and
make our content usable by everyone, including people with vision, hearing,
motor, and cognitive impairments. 

Our Accessibility Commitment

This website aims to conform to Web Content Accessibility
Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA, and we are actively working towards
adopting WCAG 2.2, as recommended by the European Accessibility Act
(EAA), effective June 28, 2025. 

Our ongoing efforts include auditing our digital content,
updating templates and components, and providing training for our development
teams to build accessibility into our design and development process. 

 

Technical Accessibility

The website uses semantic HTML5 and ARIA (Accessible Rich
Internet Applications) attributes where appropriate. It is designed to work
with commonly used assistive technologies, screen readers, and keyboard
navigation. 

 We aim to ensure that:  

  • Pages are structured with appropriate heading levels 
  • All images include descriptive alt text 
  • Forms include clear labels and accessible instructions 
  • Interactive elements (like menus, modals, and sliders) are keyboard-navigable 
  • Contrast levels meet or exceed minimum thresholds 
  • The site is usable when zoomed to 200% 
  • Dynamic content is announced properly to screen readers     
Limitations and Ongoing Improvements

While we aim to adhere to accepted accessibility guidelines
and standards, it may not always be possible to do so in all areas of the
website due to third-party integrations or legacy components. Known issues
currently under review include:  

  • Improving heading structure consistency across all pages 
  • Ensuring all forms are fully labelled and error messages are announced 
  • Enhancing keyboard focus styling for better visibility
